The WPC Free Shipping Bar plugin is a small improvement for your cart and cart notice. This is a solution to prevent the familiar scenario happens again and again on your site: Customers cancel their order just before the checkout step because of the little extra shipping fee.
Encourage your customers to increase their order value to reach the free shipping threshold will help decrease the abandonment rate significantly. It’s also good for upselling products in your store. Customers tend to navigate back and add more items to reach the free shipping threshold rather than abandoning their cart if you just add one small bar to tell them how close they are to get the free shipping.
It’s a common psychology thing in shoppers: say Yes to a $270 with free shipping rather than a $250 order with…
Free Shiping not undarstand
Hi, can this plugin also work/calculate on the prices excl VAT?
Regards, Ramon
Thanks for the plugin buddy. I found that short code not working when I apply in single-product template in block based theme also I am looking option for enable in single product page as well in shop archive page and give support woo blocks.
Plugin is OK but there’s a missing important feature: It should have a limit for a free shipping.
If you base your free shipping rule only on purchase total value, there are products (or final order package) with such high prices that’s going to kill your sales. Eg. large sizes and weight as well as remote areas, special delivery requirement areas that also have much higher shipping costs.
If plugin had something like “Free Shipping up to a certain amount” would be great for me. In this case, if the shipping cost were below this target, ok for free shipping, if not give a customer this amount as a discount on shipping cost.
I initially thought using this plugin might be interesting, but it doesn’t work. Worst of all, if you need support, they’ll ask you to buy a premium version—which doesn’t even exist. Instead, they push you to buy another premium plugin, regardless of what it is. If you don’t, they won’t provide any support.
Additionally, all their premium plugins come with limited-time support, so in the long run, you’ll be left “alone” to resolve any issues on your own.
This company doesn’t have good business practices. If you’re a serious business, I strongly recommend finding a more reputable developer who stands behind their product. Once you have several of their plugins on your site, replacing them can be very time-consuming. Plus, you probably spent a huge amount of time adding css code to make it match to your own brand.
So, even if their plugins seem nice, but you will have to deal with your own problems…
