WPC Show Single Variations is a nice plugin for presenting variations of variable products as single items on catalog pages. Variations will appear on the catalogs (shop, category page, tag & search results) as normal simple items, but still, stay within the variable parent products. Users can adjust the display at ease by enabling/disabling the functionality on the system basis or reversing it on the variation basis from the Variations tab.
This type of display creates an abundant & straightforward appearance of items in your store and assists customers in searching for the right choice with fewer clicks. It is indeed a great & easy-to-use tool to organize your online store to attain better convenience & performance.
Simple, effective and free but needs some work…
– It would be great if instead of having to select all the variable products that will not be hidden, you select which you do want to be hidden. Or this could be a new extra option. (settings tab)
Plus, in my shop when I click on a variable that I want to remove from my list with products that will not be hidden, the page goes way down, to the end of the list and I need to scroll up again and click that product again because it did not remove it the first time.
– Also, when I click the save changes button, I go way up the list and need to scroll down again en click it again because it did not save.
– And it would be nice if it would keep all the product variations together on an archive page. If a product has 5 variations, and you add 1 more variation, this new one could be showing pages later and will not be with the other 5 in 1 row.
Added:
– It does not look at the altered published date.
– If I make a copy of a product, this new product does not show up in the front end of the shop.
I have to click the Re-init variations, which is very slow.
Added: I went for another plugin: https://storeplugin.net/plugins/variations-as-single-product-for-woocommerce/ that works great.
Fulfills the purpose
Not performing correctly.
When we installed this plugin we assumed that its working fine. Variable to single products showing is ok but Filter not working Properly. It should be solved nevertheless its worthless to us
The plugin works nicely and does what it promises with a simple set up. The only weak point is the “re-init variations” function that should be run in background to prevent server time outs on larger stores with lots of variations. Otherwise it is a great free plugin.
