Follow Us Badges

Was about to purchase something on envato, when I ran into this free plugin. Does everything what I like it to do; fantastic !

I’ve been wanting to add Follow Buttons to my site for months now and was glad to find this simple to use plugin. These days ones social networks really are keeping a brand in play so it was nice to see the big options of Twitter and Facebook but I wondered when and if we can count on Instagram being added to the mix of options. So many websites have official accounts to entertain their visitors and a button to direct those people to the account would be excellent.

It provides the ability to link to a few of the more popular services, but there’s little control over the appearance of the badges. The two styles shown in the screenshots are the only styles available. I can’t, for instance, get a single row of badges without the text. The badges also “jump” while loading; they resize once the graphics load, which looks unprofessional. CSS should be used to set the sizes of the containers before the contents load. Also can’t select whether links open in new window (they do).

This plug-in does exactly what’s promissed. Very easy to use and responsive staff.

This plug-in quickly and easily does exactly what I hoped it would. One small glitch (due to my own inexperience) was rapidly and effectively addressed by extremely responsive support staff. Highly recommend!
