According to several usability studies, 85% of users who access an e-commerce store go straight to the search form. If they cannot find it and search for the products they want to buy, most of them will abandon the site after a few seconds.
If you already have a search form on your website, but it does not work properly or suggests irrelevant products, the same will happen: they will abandon your shop and you will lose those sales.
With the latest version of YITH WooCommerce AJAX Search, in just a few minutes, you can set up a modern and usable search form in WooCommerce that’s designed to deliver effective results consistently, search after search.
The new version of the plugin is powerful, flexible, and easy to configure. You can place your search form anywhere using the built-in block…
Unfortunately no support even on the paid version. Completely ignored. This search solution removes your products from search if they are updated. You have to manually re-index the catalog anytime you make a change. Devs say this is by design and will not fix their horrible coding solution – even if you purchased several licenses. Tested on diffrent websites and diffrent version but no luck yet.
This plugin does not replace your existing search bar without altering your theme. You can only use shortcodes. So you will end up having two search bars – one native to your theme which as standard woo functionality and the one you add by shortcode. I tried reach out out to them, but they had no desire to modify their plugin to make one that will actually work.
There is another plugin on on the depository that does replace your theme’s search bar automatically and I recommend you search for that one rather than waste your time with this one.

It functions but the widget title has it’s own style and not using Standard style. Element Backgrounds are plain white. No option to change it other than making own CSS code for Theme.
I wish they would offer a Tag cloud for tag search.
I love YITH though as they have great looking UI, a lot of useful addons but in detail they lack options and some crucial functions.
