YITH Request a Quote for WooCommerce is a powerful tool to hide prices and/or add to cart buttons and let your customers request a custom quote for every product.
If you sell goods or services for which a label with price is not enough and you want to get in touch with your customers, a quote system is the perfect solution for your WooCommerce shop.
Our plugin allows displaying an “Add to Quote” button or link on your product pages. Customers can add products to a list, fill the form and then submit a request for a custom quote.
It is also possible to hide the “Add to cart” buttons to encourage customers to get in touch with the suppliers: in this way you can hide prices for wholesale or retailers and provide competitive custom prices based on their needs.
The admin will receive an email…
Emeği geçen herkese teşekkürler.
Hi. So I was trying to hide all the prices for the client and then in the notification after sending the quote, the email have the prices. I have tried to edit the yith-woocommerce-request-a-quote-premium/templates/emails/request-quote-table.php. Iv done like we do in woocommerce. Putting the folder in the theme section and from there manipulate the content. But nothing works. Only editing the plugin it self, deleting the last part of the code. But in future updates we will have the same problem.
Can you confirm that we should be able to manipulate the template files like in woocommerce? If not the name templates folder is just leading us to the wrong place. Or its a bug that should be fixed?
I will change my rating if you can fix that.
Thanks
YITH Request a Quote for WooCommerce is exactly what I was looking for. It allows me to hide prices and give my customers the option to request a personalized quote in a professional way. The plugin is easy to configure, works smoothly, and integrates perfectly with my store. Highly recommended for businesses that don’t want to show prices publicly but still want to collect customer requests.
I started out giving them 1 star because there are so many buggy things with this plugin, but decided come back and give them a better rating after working through what I now call quirks. All total I submitted about 40 tech support requests. I can’t say they fixed anything I found to be wrong, but I was able to find workarounds and a very few were just the result of me just needing some instruction. Workarounds involved having to change their default setup because it made for poor usability for the user. Other quirky problems required me closing out and reopening the quote to get it to behave better and refresh its data. Most of the quirkiness is just what the admin sees in the backend that the customer never does. Once I learned it may look incorrect to me (that’s what generated so many support requests) but that it’s correct for the customer, I became more accepting of its flaws.
So while I don’t like the quirkiness, I love the app. I couldn’t find any other one out there that had the features I needed. Can it be better? Absolutely. But for getting the job done, it’s great. That’s what matters.
Features I need and it provided:
Ability to custom quote the shipping fee
Ability to add custom fields to the form
Tie form fields into Woocommerce contact fields
Ability to add my own line items with custom labels to add or subtract cost such as the credit card fee
Ability to send a PDF quote and customize the PDF with my own messaging
If it wasn’t so quirky I’d give it 5 stars for features..
Unfortunately, after many years of using it and paying for the Pro license. I am forced to uninstall it and change solution. Mainly because of the terrible customer service. They respond to tickets within 72 hours, and this means that if you need to resolve a solution, it can take up to several dozen days. A prehistoric method. The second reason is because the plugin is full of bugs and many functions do not work.
