Excellent way to create, manage, and embed forms onto my website!
This plug in allowed the selection and placement of a Zoho Form as a custom block, using wordpress default page editor. The integrations value is it generates the shortcode for you! I use the Divi theme and was easily able to place the Zoho Form using that same shortcode above, placed in a Divi text module.
It works great and is easier than the other form integrations I have tried. The built in workflow generator is also a big time saver.
I was surprised at the negative reviews. I followed the step by step documentation from Zoho help site to get the integration working with the wordpress default editor and it “just worked”
It may be that I have the paid version as part of my Zoho One subscription. Also, if you do not know Java, you may need to generate the shortcode using the default WordPress editor, test it to ensure it works, and then copy and paste it into the Divi Text Module.
Instead of following the approach of other form creator plugins, this one relies on the module method within the theme. However, it only supports native themes, making the plugin incompatible with others. Hence, it’s totally unusable—why bother creating it at all? I believe the number of users who use Zoho Forms with WordPress and a native theme is almost zero.
Sorry guys, but like everything Zoho they just seem to pump-out plugin, API, App after app… without finishing the one before it. Pretty sad actually. I left Sugar CRM for these guys, and although they are less expensive, after two years it’s all one big frustration.
This ONLY works with basic WordPress Gutenberg. It is completely useless if you are using any theme editor tools. Save yourself the overhead and time and just put the iframe or javascript code in from Zoho Forms.
It appears to be useful, the customizing tools were easy to figure out. but I could never test it. After spending a bunch of my time designing a contact form, I could not save it and test it on the site because you have to sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription. I understand how plugins and programs can not always be offered for free, but it would have been good if there was some sort of notice ahead of time. For me, using a template just does not work. I can’t use my branding and I especially must be able to modify design elements such as width – should it be dynamic so it is viewable on different screens, for example. So it seems like it would be a good tool but no way to know and I did not like wasting 30+ minutes of my time only to find out I cannot customize anything without paying. It might deserve more stars but no way for me to know until I try to use a shortcode to see if it actually does work on the site.
