I have this installed and working on several websites. I always recommend Zoho for inexpensive quality email. They have a free level, but you need the paid level which is currently $1/mo per email address with a custom domain name. Compares to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 as far as quality of service.
The plugin works great with the Zoho Mail account. Unfortunately, WordPress forms currently don’t include the Reply-To header, which makes it inconvenient for our client to confirm bookings. We had this feature working previously using another SMTP plugin with Brevo, so we know it’s possible. Please consider adding support for Reply-To headers in WordPress forms as a priority update. This functionality is essential for proper communication flow, and I’ve seen multiple users requesting it over the past year – both here and on the Zoho Community forum.
If you have to get your own ssl certificate because you’re living on the cheap; this is the way to. Even if paid, zoho mail is cheaper and always reliable.
Very happy, 5/5
Great plugin, but missing an important feature. We like to set it up to send from a noreply@ email address, but when the user or notification email are sent out, the “reply to” address is not used, rather the noreply@ email address. This is ineffective. If this feature is added, 5 stars… until then 3 stars.
The plugin works great with your Zoho account. No issues with my site, and it was very easy to setup and pretty straight forward.
