Really cool theme with lots of options for customization. It takes some time to learn how to use it, but it’s totally worth it. Best part is the amazing and fast support! Highly recommend it for your directory website! 🙂

Lightspeed jump past Elementor Pro – Worth the Time Investment!

After writing to GD support, it was suggested to me to try their Blackstrap GD theme and of course their solid GeoDirectory plugin as well. I’m told that blockchain technology is being used in the blackstrap framework.
At first install, I looked at it, sighed and didn’t want to deal with the learning curve at that moment. Then struggled for a while with the Elementor version of GD and experienced really poor website speed test results of 3.92 seconds based on demo data with a Grade B.
Then I finally caved and really really gave the Geostrap “Directory Theme” a try. After 4 hours I had the theme looking like the Whoop theme and…drum rolll….speed test results with a load time of 1.16 seconds and a glowing Grade A using the demo data!

What GD don’t mention is that, the frame work is a way way faster alternative to what a user might experience with Elementor Pro. If you invest enough time in exploring the editing options, the light bulb will go off in your head, and you’ll be sold. Yes, GD is onto something with this new framework!
I’m glad I took the time to learn how to use the features included!

Excellent Theme for GeoDirectory

The theme is very well designed, simple and easy to use and change. It is very well integrated into the new WordPress Block Editor.

And together with BlockStrap PageBuilder Blocks, which are from the same team as GeoDirectory plugin and this theme, we managed to achieve very good page loading times, without twisting code or DOM elements or sweating for days on the topic.

All fits perfect together. If you like to have a sleek, minimalistic design for your directory and super fast loading times, you should really consider the Directory Theme with a child theme, of course.

It was really pleasure to use this theme as a base for our project.

After spending several hours going through 2 of Ketchups themes I gave up, bug after bug after bug.Don’t waste your time and money. I asked a refund only to be told NO, read the TOC they could sell you a turd and you will not get a refund – remember always read the TOC – Con artists, under so many companies.
