I wanted to know if my customized Home Page Still Exists because the default theme Home Page has overridden my page. I went to the page editor. When I chose View, the default theme page of Eductional Block content displays. When I chose Edit, my customized page displays. Apparently my website Home Page is not displaying my custom page but the default theme page. I’m unable to make the theme default to my custom page. I’ve followed ChatGPT instructions: It sounds like my home page is still intact in the editor but isn’t set as the active home page. The issue likely lies in the settings controlling which page WordPress displays as the homepage. None of these suggested steps resolved the problem. This issue has occured after the recent Jan 27 update.
Because it is the Home Page of my business primarily which has been impacted, resolution is of utmost importance. I have contacted the author almost a week ago and have not received a response. I have left details in the support forum and the author does not appear to be checking message. I don’t know what else to do to reconcile this important issue when the creator is unresponsive for an exceptionally long period.
