Clean, fast and flexible all-purpose theme

I was searching for a modern and free customisable theme to construct web site of a public library. Following a series of tests including the must-have items, such as Kadence, Blocksy and Astra, I stumbled upon Prespa which I found even more promising and full of potential for every kind of web project. After the choice was made, I confirm the joy to build a site on Prespa.

The theme is clean, fast and intuitively adjustable. The learning curve is short, in one or two days playing with patterns, settings and adjustments you get an idea of the possibilities it offers. The clean design of the theme, combined with smooth animation, creates an attractive and professional look. The free pack of available patterns offers a versatile tool for quickly building a nicely styled front end.

I am positively impressed by the fast and reliable assistance given by the theme’s developer, even for the free version. Replying to my questions and requests, the developer instantly added some new functionality to the next theme update.

The theme’s documentation is a great help for customisation, and it hints how to apply built-in animation effects to any block of your pages and posts via the field of additional CSS classes. I especially appreciate the way animation is implemented by p-animation-text-moveUp and p-animation-zoom-in. The use of custom CSS via the WP panel allows to tweak free Prespa even deeper.

Some functionality is limited in the free version: custom svg social icons, linking the postal address to google maps in the top bar, multilanguage adaptation of the ‘call to action’ button. These are minor burns which are perfectly tolerable if you do not have budget for the premium version.
