I’ve used this theme for a shop’s website, and it was great working with WooCommerce… So I thought I’d use this on my blog as well.

It is ONLY set up to show post excerpts. If you choose to show full text, it’ll show full text for every single post. All I want is a VERY standard blogging layout in that it shows the full text for the most recent blog post, and then excerpts for the rest. I have spent hours working in the PHP to get this set up… and nothing. No attempts at adding the counter code works. Even people on stackoverflow haven’t been able to help and I’ve read over twenty different solutions, none of them work. (I’ve even reached out to the developer, but unless you pay for the premium theme, they won’t even look at your comment!)

The only solution I have now is to switch themes. It’s such a shame that this really nice theme just isn’t set up for blogging, despite saying so.

Just fancy enough for me.
